Dutchland Plastics’ Daven Claerbout joins former Green Bay Packer Donald Driver for a benefit to support the Coalition for Children, Youth & Families.
The Coalition for Children, Youth and Families is an umbrella over foster care and adoption in the state of Wisconsin, providing information and referral at every stage of the process, recruiting homes for children in need an offering support to foster and adoptive families and the professionals who support them. Since The Coalition’s operations in 1984, they have facilitated more than 2,000 adoptions and hundreds of foster home placements through our services.
Donald Driver served as Honorary Chair using his celebrity status to gain important attention for Coalition for Children, Youth & Families. Donald met with Gala attendees and shared his story of overcoming obstacles and the importance of offering a helping hand to those in need. Driver overcame homelessness as a child and became one of the most community-minded athletes of his generation. Donald and his wife Betina founded the Donald Driver Foundation in 2001 – the foundation focuses on underprivileged children and families, health, wellness and safety along with education and career development.
Daven Claerbout has dedicated his auctioneering skills to helping charitable events since 1990. He conducts more than 50 charity auctions and benefits annually throughout the Midwest.
